FRANKFURT, Germany - Petr Jiracek scored two goals to help Wolfsburg beat last-place Freiburg 3-2 in the Bundesliga on Friday night.
In a game played in light snow, Jiracek put the hosts ahead in the fifth minute, Johannes Flum tied it in the 11th and Marcel Schaefer gave Wolfsburg a 2-1 lead in the 14th. Daniel Caligiuri retied in the 38th, and Jiracek put Wolfsburg ahead for good in the 61st.
Wolfsburg (8-10-3) is eighth with 27 points, while Freiburg (4-12-5) is 17th, trailing Augsburg on goal difference.
