NLI Signing Period 2012: Mt. Hebron, Northern California, More

The National Letter of Intent signing period begins today and runs through November 21. Please submit all notes, signings, information and photos from NLI signings to Danielle Bernstein to be posted on ILWomen.

From Ithaca, midfielders Grace Boyce (left) and Mindsay Biondi (right) sign their letters. Boyce is headed to Campbell University and Biondi to Maryland.

From Press Releases ? American River Lacrosse would like to congratulate St. Francis High School athletes Meagan Bennett (left) and Lauren Bryan (right, pictured above) for being recruited to play Division I Women's Lacrosse and signing their National Letter of Intent on November 14, 2012. Lauren is a member of the American River Lacrosse club in El Dorado Hills, CA and is headed to Fresno State University where she will major in Business and begin her bright future as a collegiate lacrosse player. Meagan, a member of the Triple Threat club in Danville, CA is headed to St. Mary's College to pursue a degree in Kinesiology.

These dedicated athletes have worked hard to achieve success, traveling extensively to pursue their dreams from the small towns of Gold River and El Dorado Hills, located in the Sierra-Nevada Foothills. Meagan has routinely commuted two hours to practice with her club team in the Bay Area for several years, while Lauren endured two knee surgeries and extensive rehabilitation in order to achieve her goal. She proudly wore her American River Lacrosse jersey into surgery, proclaiming to the doctor, "This is why I need you to fix my knee...because lacrosse is my passion!" We are proud of these athletes and wish them continued success in their collegiate lacrosse careers!

Players from Peters Township High School (PTHS) in McMurray, Pennsylvania, signed National Letters of Intent. They were all part of the team that won the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Championships last spring.
